I smoked a Casa De Torano last week and while it was good it was too light for me. It had great volume and that is what kept me into it.

    Default Carlos Torano Tribute; 2004

Hands down, one of my absolute favorite Torano's. Something about the dark costa rican maduro leaf, with the DR & Nicaraguan long fillers......

3" ash before swan diving to the floor. I think I shed a tear when it lept to its death. Perfect draw, excellent construction...it left me with a buzz......

I just got my cigars in from joining that insider, took quite some time, but since it took longer than expected they even threw in an extra one, they sent me a torano Exodus 1959 and also a Silver Edition. I've only had a 1916 cameroon which i liked very much, anyone had any of these two cigars?

Sorry quiet, I got all antsy when I saw amishbob's post here

I LOVE the Carlos Torano Exodus 1959 GOLD The silvers have a different wrapper that to me isn't anywhere nearly as tasty as the 1959 Golds. I've also smoked the 2004 Tributes which have a very nice, oily tasty wrapper. The Tributes are kind of pricey. You can get a box of the 1959 gold Toros for $66.00 from seriouscigars.

I've also smoked a few of the 1916 Cameroons in my day but they didn't do too much for me.

I'm going to let the other one sit in the humidor for another week or so, because i think i smoked the first one a lil too soon, was a bit dry.
