    Default Legend Ario ~ Bertha

Other's reviews (None found, searching the Reviews Forum)

    Smoke: Legend Ario ~ Bertha
    Drink: Yuengling Bock Beer
Tunes: Jethro Tull ~ Thick as a Brick

    Wrapper: Honduras
    Binder: Honduras
    Filler: Honduras
    Draw: Medium to light
    Burn: Good
Misc: Run time about 90+ minutes (go figure)

Pre-light: Rather large… Veiny & a little bumpy dark brown, almost black wrapper. Sweet rich tobacco scent on prelight and taste is a little leathery with some spice.

Light: Easy. Medium to light draw.

1st 3rd: Sweet notes right off the bat. Light spice, like carbonation. Oily aftertaste, but sweet, not bitter. Medium body, medium flavor. Slight woodsy flavors.

Ash: Medium gray with some black layers. Yellow twinge. Holds on for 1 ˝”

2nd 3rd: Sweet tobacco flavors. Less spice, but still remotely there. Still oily, but sweet after taste, and now woodsy notes. Very smooth, but has enough bite to not fall into a “creamy” category.

3rd 3rd: Had some minor cracks in the wrapper here and there, but it didn’t affect the burn or anything. More of the same. Very long, enjoyable and relaxing smoke. Mellow and smooth. Flavor profile is similar to what was previously described.

Overall impression: Very good and enjoyable. This was the last smoke I had before I started the lent thing. This is a large vitola, and I might look for it in a smaller size.

    Thank you, you know who.

I really like these...especially in the Bertha size...it is a good campfire stogie, cause it can last pretty near as long as the fire .
I first tried one when my local B&M suggested it to me, and now, I always keep at least one in the humi.

Will certainly looks like a good stick to me. I am finding I am liking maduro type sticks more and more. Nice review as usual Will!

Will they sell the Toro size at Atlantic cigars for $19.95, I have dealt with them, and they are a great group of folks http://www.atlanticcigar.com/comacho.html (about 3/4 way down the page).

Nice, I haven't had the toro, but I have had the bertha and the figurado, and they both have pretty much the same flavor profile.
