  5. Talking Goods From Sarge Arrived Today

Just got my end from sarge and I'm pretty excited. One of the extras he threw in, I've been dying to try and never got around to picking one up...awesome how that worked out!

If you ever need anything in the future I'd be happy to help you out. Thanks again!!!

  6. Default One Thing To Add

Ok, so I didn't get a chance to thoroughly inspect the package sarge sent me (had to meet up with some friends after work) and finish posting.

I was at 'wow' when I briefly glossed over his end of the trade...now I'm at holy . Coming into cigarsmokers.com a month ago, I was like, "what the hell is a BOTL and what's up with all of these damn acronyms?"

I was getting a good idea from just 'reading posts' from various people, but didn't realize how much more you can learn by simply doing a trade with someone. sarge has definitely set a good example for me in his timeliness, good communication, and coming through with his end. By setting this example, it's definitely an example I will continue to follow in the future.

I apologize for the sentimental post, but people need to be called out when they set good examples not only for newbies like me, but the cigar community in general.

Thanks again sarge. I have no doubt you have a lot of cigar buddies already and well...you've just inherited another one. You need anything in the future, don't hesitate to ask.

Sorry, I've been real busy with lots of things. I do the NSTs over on CigarPass and because mine work out easily (the new guys pay immediately) I get back in the rotation faster than just abot everyone else I think I did three in the last three weeks.

As much as corona gigante ticks me off, I have to admit, his post in this thread had some merit. I've slacked more than I wanted to and I don't have the time nor the cigars at the moment to do any trades. Hell, I don't even have any of those maduro samplers left. I plan on getting one more box of each of those five but it probably won't be until next week.

Thanks sarge for hooking upGodfather and thank you Godfather for your post

Once some of the "newer" guys around here start building up their stash (oh trust me, this WILL happen to you ) some of you will be able to be the "FOG" or whatever (I kinda don't like that term but........) and can help out the newer guys that come along down the line.

These NSTs are just about the best way to get a sampler that there is going.

I haven't done a NST, but I have traded with a couple members here and it hasn't been a problem. It usually cost a few bucks more to ship though. Haven't recieved any nasty letters from customs yet

That's awesome, thanks for your input - the only better news would be hearing there was a system-wide detightassification in Ottawa.

I've got a fiver of VSG Illusions I could part with. Got a ten pack to split with my boss and he backed out. It had something to do with a bitchy wife and low funds...Go figure.

I can fix you up with a sampler package that includes them.

What are the VSG's, and in comparison to what?

I have a fiver of DCM#5s coming! Never had one... I believe the VSG is a fuente product as well yes?

Ashton Virgin Sun Grown...The Illusion is a Longsdale. If you like AF SGs you should like these. They are probably the best SG on the market.

I have a deal with a newbie pending with these.
