Smoke: Padron Legacy Natural
Drink: Water
Tunes: None
Wrapper: Nicaraguan
Binder: Nicaraguan
Filler: Nicaraguan
Draw: Medium
Burn: Great
Misc: 45-60min
Pre-light: Medium brown with a little pretzel bumpiness on wrapper. Nice construction. Musky tobacco scent. A little spicy flavor on prelight (after cutting)
Light: Easy. Medium draw. Peppery right off the light.
1st 3rd: ¼” into it and it’s “Awww yeah” padronification! Smooth, but spicy (if that even makes sense) Slight sweet licorice or cocoa ring and a little dry oil taste.
Ash: Dark gray with charcoal mottled spots. Tiny white ash bubbles. Flaky. Holds on for 1 ½” (despite a slight breeze outside)
2nd 3rd: Spicy. Nutty flavors with sweet notes described above. Smooth and rich. Medium to full body and full flavor. Beautiful.
3rd 3rd: Same as above. Very potent cigar. More of the licorice taste comes out in the last third. Delicious.
Overall impression: A very nice treat for my B-day. Totally hits the mark as one of Padron’s signature cigars.
Thank you (you know who you are ;)
