Let us gather here today to say goodbye to the Houston Astros for 2005.
They made a nice mini-run, but now have dropped to second in the wild card race, allowing about five teams to get within two or so games.

LMAO!! Houston has the inside track in the Wild Card race, all the NL East teams have to play EACH other from here on out and beat each other up and all we have to do is play the LOSER teams in the NL Central. The Astros should win the Wild Card.

You're right superman, that is a BIG problem.I still think they can get to the playoffs BUT their lack of run scoring probably won't get them past Atlanta and certainlly not past the Cardinals.

I mean GEEZ, they HAD to have won, you know with that great bullpen they have, Isringhausen, Tavarez, King, Reyes. If they kept records on how many times one pitcher can blow saves in a game ALL BY HIMSELF, the Cardinals would have set it tonight.
I'm a poor soul in Connecticut who cannot watch Astros games.....................
