Tandem review with my wife
Smoke(s) Camacho Diploma ~ Scorpion
Drink(s): Yuengling Lord Chesterfield Ale (me); Water (wife)
Tunes: None
Wrapper: Honduran Corojo
Binder: Honduran Corojo
Filler: Honduran Corojo
Draw: Me: Light / Wifey: Open / Smooth
Burn: (Both) Good
Misc: 60mins +/-
Pre-light (Me): Figurado shape, Colorado maduro shade wrapper. Musty / musky prelight scent. Leather on the cut prelight taste.
Pre-light (Wifey): The Scorpions are a good band! Cigar smells like feet. I don’t care for the brown on the label.
Light (Both): Easy
1st 3rd (Me): A little spicy with a creamy aspect. Oil and sweet tobacco tastes. Medium to full body with medium flavor. Smooth.
1st 3rd (Wifey): Spicy…first third is rather spicy.
Ash (Me): Stacked black and gray with ash bubbles. Holds on for over 1 ¼”
Ash (Wifey): I habitually knock my ash off.
2nd 3rd (Me): Less spicy. Oily with leather and a little on the bitter side…just a bit. Earthy tones.
2nd 3rd (Wifey): Spicy, but has a definitely smoothed out. Has a mushroom soil flavor.
3rd 3rd (Me): Oily, smooth but still a little bitter. Earthy and now some woodsy notes.
3rd 3rd (Wifey): Has really mellowed out. Creamy. Hint of spice.
Overall impression (Me): Good but not for the MSRP. I probably won’t look for more.
Overall impression (Wifey): Just sort of average.
