Thread: Local Cohiba Store has CAO event tomorrow - anyone been to these?

  1. Default Local Cohiba Store has CAO event tomorrow - anyone been to these?

I live relatively close to a Cohiba store/lounge. I rarely visit there because (1) I'm not a fan of tourists, (2) they're prices suck and (3) every time I've visited, I'm always helped by some kid in a Cohiba t-shirt and a backwards cap - wtf?

Tomorrow they are having an event with CAO. My wife happened to quickly see the sign and told me about it when she got home. Called the store for more info and they were useless (see #3 above). Sounds like the SoCal rep will be driving in from LA and hosting a 2-hour tasting/special sale on CAO boxes.

Anyone been to something like this before? Worth the time investment in going to these things?

I find most cigar events to be well worth the time and $.

That is if they have a good rep show up, they are very informative and normally have some great deals on their cigars.
