    The kid is going to be ok...He had one through and through in the leg and another in the shoulder. His vest saved his life.

    Went to see the kid...He is in good spirits and doing well. A full recovery is expected.

    On another positive note my boss...The Sheriff...Made bullet resistant vests mandatory for all patrol officers whenever they wear the uniform. The department issues one for every patrol officer but wearing it was optional until now.

    As of last night the bud guys were still outstanding...We do have leads.
