Typo in the title, should be 1962.
I selected this one as my birthday smoke for tonight. Thought I would do a quick little review on it.
Cigar: Camacho 1962 Pre Embargo
Drink: 10 Cane rum on rocks
Tunes: -
Location: Deck
Pre Light: Very sweet tobacco smell and a very oily wrapper. Cap is a pig tail and the foot appears to have extra length from the wrapper folded over the foot. Pretty solid but slightly spongy. Taste is very spicy. Draw is very nice.
1/3: Heavy on the leather with a bit of spice to back it up. Sweet tobacco and some bourbon notes as well. Actually tastes similar how it did pre light. Lots of thick white smoke
2/3: lotsa more spice now. Seriously a great smoke so far. Nicotine buzz is starting to come on
3/3: Spice mellowed out towards the end and leather was hittin strong.
Overall: Great cigar. Worth full price? Probably not, but it is legal Cuban tobacco so you have to factor that in as well. If I get another chance to pick this up at $10 or even $15, I will be all over it.
