As the organizer of the Mega Reviews, I felt pretty bad and somewhat responsible when the negative comments starting coming in for the Kinky’s – but then I remembered who was truly to blame...

My votes would be for the following:
~$6/stick - El Triunfador Lancero (the original blend)
~$7/stick - Kinky Friedman ~ The Willie
~$4/stick - Olor Nicaragua ~ Corona

Bad Whale! Bad, bad, bad! However, I guess smoking a cigar like the Kinky does have an upside – giving us all a better appreciation for the good cigars we smoke. With maybe a couple exceptions, everyone seemed to hate this cigar. I will be completely honest here though – once the reviews starting coming in, I was already set to give my cigar a bad review before I even lit it up. I wonder if my review would have been different had I smoked mine before anyone else. I’d like to say it would have been the same.

The Kinky’s came nicely packaged in a good looking box, in cellos and none were damaged. The shaggy foot was interesting, maybe a little gimmicky though. I wonder what the reasoning is from Kinky as to why they did this – my guess is for the “look”.

Sorry for the rough stick fellas, thanks for “taking one for the team”!

Damn it, at least we know we can blame the whale! Haha, its ok.. honestly, when I got the pack I thought "wow, I can't wait to smoke that stick!".

I have to admit i had high expectation from this cigar and felt a little let down.

I don't regret smoking it one bit, how are we going to know if its a good smoke or not till we try it.
