Default I am keeping a cigar journal

When I first started this hobby, I was so confused! So many products, sizes, names, jargon, etc. So I started keeping a detailed journal of each time I tried a new cigar, to record when I bought, how much, ratings for what I thought, then paste band onto the page so I can remember which cigar it was. Anyone else doing something like this?
There's only two kinds of cigars, the kind you like and the kind you don't.

I know of a person who rates the cigar that he smokes and writes it on the back of the band. There are also some neat computer software material that allows you to rate your cigars and it has an unbelievable database. Personally, I prefer to rate cigars and enter the info into my blog. The problem is that I don't do this to every cigar, but as imperfect as it is, it does help me to remember certain characteristics that over time I might forget about a given cigar.

Clearly, Alfred here has had exposure to the computer software because it is "NEAT" and has an "UNBELIEVABLE" database...

And Alfred's blog... Well - let's just say - I wouldn't want to go there...

HEX - ggiese is making inflammatory posts about Alfred's, er.... Scotty's comments!!!!

There ya go, Alfred - I let Hex know for you....

I did some checking and found that there is a great downloadable program known as cigar briefcase. You can download it for free here. Hope this helps for those of you curious about online cigar software.
