Nice job so far and I agree with Ashauler... you will regret that you didn't make it the size of the mini fridge!

If i fill this thing a coolidor will be next lol.

So i went to the local cigar shop yesterday and picked up about 12 empty cigar boxes for all of $3. I have already installed and sealed it with the Lauan but i think im going to take apart these boxes and line it again with cedar from the boxes. It should be very well sealed at that point and hold moister quite consistently.

    Any thoughts on that idea?

This is awesome! We have a large double pantry door over a 1 to 2 foot deep closet and it'sin a really odd place between our living room and dining room. It currently serves as a home to anything we can't find a place for and we have been talking about changing its "purpose" but not exactly sure what to do with it. Your project gave me an awesome idea which includes a very large humidor.

    Great work!

Trust me, its not a question of "if", but "when"

So besides humidification and painting the outside trim, the construction of the humidor is pretty much done. I will change the shelving around as my collections grows but for now this will do. Now the ultimate test is going to be how well it can hold the humidity consistent at the proper levels. The hydrometer will be here soon. I also will be finishing the mini fridge and bar portion soon and will post pics.

So here it is, give me your thoughts please.

PS : Sorry for the crappy cell phone pic
