You need to get more sticks in that! You want to try and keep a humidor at least 50% of the way full, it will help regulate humidity better and will lead to less fluctuations. Very nice project though! Well done!
I am certainly working on getting more sticks, only problem is im pretty new and dont want to start buying boxes when im not really all that sure what i like, and im sure my taste will be changing more towards fuller bodied stuff even though right now i like medium. So I will be filling it as fast as i can but im not going to buy just to buy.
Well done +1

I agree with Ashauler on this one, the newb trade is absolutely worth it. Most sponsers can go to whatever limit you want. When I traded I bought a couple of 5 packs for my sponsor and the goody bag he sent back well exceeded my expectations!![]()
Beautiful job and a great idea on your humidor!
Some of the guys have mentioned buying a Newbie Sampler to help fill your humi and give you an opportunity to try new (to you) cigars. Being a fairly new member myself I did one not so long ago and was VERY happy I did. I highly recommend you do one. If/when you do a sampler, make sure you tell whomever you do it with what you've tried already for cigars. This way you don't end up spending money on cigars you've already tried.
If you're new to cigars, I'm positive your tastes will change as time goes by. I know I've had to give up on some of the cigars I first smoked as they're now too wimpy and tasteless to satisfy me and cigars I once thought were too strong are "just right".

That is pretty freaking cool! Nice work.

Thanks for all the nice words guys!! I have to say im pretty impressed with the way it turned out too. Now that the temp outside is going to down the humi is staying at a consistent 70% at 74 degrees. I still have yet to order a newb sampler or anything because im flat broke. Im getting married in a month and still fixing up the house, just finished sodding 3 weeks ago. I tell you what the wedding industry is highway robbery. Once some of that wedding gift money comes in i start buying some more sticks. For now ill just stare at the ones i have.![]()

Mine started out the gate all encouraging, until she saw the credit card billsNow all I hear is "you're smoking another one?!"
lmao, yea we'll see how it goes.
thats why i built the humi into the house. Its not as nice to look at if there is no sticks in it,![]()
