I don't have central air in my house. I have window air conditioners in different rooms in my house. These do not run all the time. They only run when I am home. I am from Iowa so it gets warm in my house during the day.I am wondering if I should keep my humidor in a room that doesn't have one of these air conditioners. The reason I ask is because air conditioners remove the humidity in the air. Would it be better to have my humidor in a room that is air conditioned part of the day when I am home or would it be better to keep it in a room that is more constant in temperature. I am concerned about the cigars being affected by large swings in temperature. I don't know if the humidity in the humidor would be affected if it is in a room that is air conditioned. Also, what about them little bugs that they say can ruin cigars if the temperature is to high. What does everyone think of this?
