internet ordered cigars question

When you order cigars on the internet how long do you let them rest in your humidor before smoking?

I've smoked em right off the truck...I'd say at least a week to stabilize.

Me too. I've smoked it off the truck and let them sit. If you have the stock to rotate I'd sit them for a month or two. If you don't fire'm up.

I normally like to wait at least a few days or so, but sometimes I can't help myself.

I usually like to let them sit for a while. However I am itching to smoke one. I think one of them is going to get sacrificed to the fire gods :)

This time of year I try to let them sit for longer just because the humidity is lower and they can dry out quite a bit during shipping. Summer months I usually fire them up pretty quick because the humidity in New Orleans hovers around 70% anyways.
