Nice review.
WTF is an OAR sampler?
After the mega review 2 where we had the LFD airbender I was so impressed I went and picked up a couple of their other sticks. They are really good sticks! Great review

Good review, Will - not sure why this cigar was never reviewed before. It's been talked up for years now!
This is one of those cigars I put off for late at night, after I have a full stomach (prefer to have had a steak and baked potato beforehand).
My experience with these has been they are VERY spicy up front - the first two or three puffs on this one almost turns me off to the smoke because it's so spicy. But - once past that - it settles down and is a VERY flavorful, pleasant cigar. Make no mistake, though - this is on the high end of the full body/full strength end. Not much else competes with this cigar on that level.
Daigz - the Airbender is NOTHING like this cigar. I like the Airbender for much different reasons than I like the Chisel. The Chisel is full bodied - full strength. The Airbender is much more in the medium range on both. LFD has done much to move away from that full bodied - full strength line they've become known for - and moved more into the mainstream with their offerings. However - I'm glad they've kept the Chisel around.![]()
I figured it was very different based on the review but I was referring more to the LFD brand in general (I've had a few others and really enjoyed them too).
I've never had a Chisel before and it looks like I'm going to have to add it to my Wish List!
How long ago did they start going with the less full bodied smokes for more of a mainstream appeal? Just curious.
