There are a couple shops on St. Charles that I have never been to but I assume that their prices are lower just because they are not trying to screw the tourists like the ones in the quarter. 95% of my reletives live in louisiana, so i spend a lot of time there. i was in new orleans for new years and mardi gras this year. had a few too many gernade during mardi gras.
