Hello all, John Williams here. So I guess I'm what you call a "noob" in the cigar world. You have to start somewhere right? I want to start off by saying its a nice privilege to be apart of this forum. Any help and advice is greatly appreciated. So here's the thing, I'm making a humidor out of an old silverware box. I tore out all the cloth and cleaned up the inside. My question is, what is the recommended thickness of Spanish cedar for the inside? 1/8", 1/4", 1/2" or does it really matter (btw this is just a project, I have a humidor)? The dimensions for the box are 11"x15"x5 1/2", if that helps. I'll post pictures of it asap. Thanks!
