Damn I didn't even realize that I had the wrong Country! I even put it as Nicaraguan in the original post. New sig tag on the way (corrected, same image) and the OP has been corrected!![]()

PPPIV landed this morning, all in great shape. I'll get the puro smoked tomorrow, as my palate is a little fried after spending an evening with irish79 (aka binge smoker / binge smoker enabler.)

Smoke: Puro Pot Pass IV ~ Puro from slcraiders
Drink: Water
Tunes: Joe Walsh (assorted albums)
Wrapper: ???
Binder: ???
Filler: ???
Draw: Medium (on the tight side)
Burn: Excellent
Misc: Goes for about an hour
Pre-light: Colorado maduro shade wrapper. Slightly off square cut at foot, and triple cap at head. Well constructed and lightly veined. Sweet tobacco, almost cocoa prelight scent. Similar cocoa / sweet tobacco flavor on cut.
Light: Easy. Medium to tight draw.
1st 3rd: Sweet smooth tobacco, with a slight oily / bitter aftertaste. Good balance, perfect burn. Has a salted butter mouth feel. Creamy and nice mild to medium body cigar.
Ash: White with light gray mixed. Stacked perfect. Holds for 1 1/2” +
2nd 3rd: Smooth, creamy, sweet tobacco and a faint pepper spice. Well balanced, and perfect burn. Oily twinge which is a nice balancing accent.
3rd 3rd: Same profile. Getting hotter and a little more oily now. Not as smooth as 1st 3rd, but still very enjoyable.
Overall impression: I’m going to guess this was a delicious Dominican Republic puro….I think.
Thanks James. Great smoke!

I like how you did the review on that.![]()
Someone should go easy on your new sig tag since you went all review style on this pass. Those are some great pictures you took. They make me want to light up one of my go to Nicaraguan puros- the San Cristobal classico.
Mama said a lot of things and be thankful was the one she never minded saying twice
