You may want to take his advice. I belong to numerous different forums, but this one places a larger emphasis on spelling and punctuation which is the perogative of the contributing members here. You may find this to be a trivial issue, but the members here don't.

I'm going to go out on a limb here and assume debu-tant is from Quebec. In that case, I'm sure there are, but I'm not aware, of any French Canadian cigar boards where he may be more comfortable.

Crap from the Grammarian aside - if he continues to post without concern for english spelling, punctuation and grammar on an english speaking board - like it or not - people in most of those online communities will generally view him as ignorant. While it might be uncomfortable, this is a perfect opportunity for debu-tant to polish his english spelling, punctuation and grammar. Who knows - that could be useful somewhere down the road!

George, my guess is he's from Ontario or another English speaking province other than Quebec. There is no language barrier problem with this ass wipe, he's simply lazy, immature, rude and disrespectful.

    Absolutely!!!

My favorite story about that - witness to a resident of Montreal arguing with a Parisian cab driver about who speaks "proper" French... Seriously - a Canadian arguing with a Frenchman about who speaks proper French.

It's funny you should mention that........it made me think of my situation at home.

My wife is from the US. I'm a Canadian. We frequently argue about who speaks proper English. It's all in fun, but we've never settled who speaks "proper" English.

I suspect if you asked a Brit, he/she would tell you, "Neither of you"
