Thread: Go ahead and flame away CC

And why suggest I was lying c-no baka? Do you think I am "flaming" you?

I am trying to give you some constructive criticism based on my first interaction with you , but your pride seems to be getting in the way here.

Take note, after your immature refusal to discuss the concept of "marrying" of cigars, I helped you out on a different thread with my personal experience with Colibri lighters, suggested another brand and offered you 3 fantastic sources for those lighters at great prices. Those sources are places I researched, have ordered from and had positive experiences with.

That "experience" has value, and I was happy to share with you that knowledge.

Based on your unwillingness / inability to have a healthy discussion, I can't say that the next time you need a little help here, that I will be as willing to offer you a helping hand.

He isn't the only one with "experience" and part of a board that is self-moderated is to take some feedback, no matter how critical. Amazing how certain people are suspect, but others have no fault.

When will my winnings be sent out to OpFTH scotty? I would like to have this resolved as soon as possible. I believe a package for mithril is in order as well.

If I was interested in Thompson's finest doggie rockets, scrubbing toilets, cow tipping , resale value of Ford Aspire's, or cumguzzling, you would be the first person I would ask Scroto.

You believe you should not be challenged... A very Scotty like move... This could be VERY bad....

My bias is for what I feel is right. And I will post my opinion of what I think. If I think CC is wrong, he'll know it. And if I feel you are wrong - you'll know it to. I can tell you this much - if I tell CC he's wrong, I'll back it up with clear reasoning. We may even bicker. But - he will respect what I say, and I will respect what he says. And if in the end I'm wrong - I'll accept it and bow out. And I'll also STFU when I shouldn't be involved.

You, sir, have very little history. I, and everyone else on this board for that matter, don't know what you're about. You obviously want to interject your opinion where you probably shouldn't, (seeing as how you seem to think SFG75 is some kind of martyr) and you are accusing CC and others of starting flame wars all over the place. Clearly, you don't have any clue about what you are saying. Yes - there have been heated discussions - yes, there has been some "calling out" (I believe you call it "baiting"). But you should have watched from the side lines while the argument went on. Post your cigar reviews, answer other members questions or make comments, but stay out of the areas for which you are not qualified or prepared to answer. And that includes involvement in the whole SFG fiasco.

As an example - you clearly showed your inexperience with Hugh over the flavored cigar posts. You admitted you only relied on the little bit of information you got from the guys at the cigar shop. That is not YOUR position - it is the position of what you HEARD others say - that's, my friend, is called HEARSAY in the legal circles - it's not admissible in court because it's such a WEAK position to be in...

You're new here. You have no history here. All that anyone can do to judge you is to read what you write NOW. You are not very respected now because you have not established yourself as very respecable yet, even though you'd like to think so. Get over it - it's the way things work in life....

First, I observed for two months before I said anything about the Scotty war.

Second, I don't like pointless arguing. If I state my opinion, I'm fine with replying once or twice to questions. But i refuse to get into a "FU your're wrong/no FU you're wrong" war.

Third, I tend to judge people by the overall content of their messages. You I have some respect for because you post about things other than flaming Scotty. And you clearly explain your positions. CC baits, flames, uses profanity and relies on nothing more than bluster and the volume of his argument, not the content.

Fourth, i am new here, but not that new. I read for a month, then started posting, have been here almost three months by now.

Fifth, the content of this board seems to be thin. It mostly consists of petty bickering and arguing.

the content was good a month ago but this war has consumed the forum. i am sticking around hoping that it gets resolved soon, i.e. the right people leave.

Actually, the content was seeing a nice upsurge until you dropped yer britches and decided to proclaim yourself the owner of the biggest e-peen and continue telling everyone you were not going to post anymore, time and time again. You have proven your word means nothing. The more you egg it on the worse it gets.

Hugh, I just wasn't interested in discussing that subject anymore, so why do you construe that as immature refusal? My ego isn't big enough that I take umbrage at someone who disagrees with me on a subject like whether cigars marry flavors or not. I do appreciate your feedback and help. I can have healthy discussions, and have had many. Look at the past six weeks. One argument with CC and suddenly I am the problem???

No, not just one argument with me. You seem to have "issues" like talking out of your ass when you have no first hand knowledge, and a generally warped view of how things work in on-line bb's so yes cigar no baka YOU are the "problem" here and it wasn't just "suddenly"

Again, based on my first experience with you, you were quick to pull the " I am not going to argue" routine. I wasn't arguing with you; I was interested in hearing your opinion and experience.

Based on the experience of other members on this forum, this appears to be the modus operandi for you.

It sure doesn't lead to an interesting exchange of ideas and experiences. In fact, it stifles a discussion and is more likely to cause arguements and flaming.

Maybe CC has had the same experience(s) with you? Maybe there is validation in his "flames" ? Maybe you are not an innocent victim? Maybe starting a thread specifically calling CC out complaining that he is flaming you wasn't the best idea?

Be more willing to engage in an exchange of ideas -you might learn something or teach something to someone else.

Well go back and see where it started with CC. Does it look like I was baiting him or not? I kept replying until the posted one of his classic foul-mouth rants, then shortly thereafter I chose not to reply. Then he taunts me for not replying. Tell me what you think.

Once again, your perception of reality leaves a lot to be desired. You'd do yourself a BIG favor by quoting or posting to back up your claims.

I honestly wish you would indeed do just that because then you'd see that you haven't remembered it very well.

Please post the "foul-mouth rant" that I allegedly made BEFORE you started losing your temper.

Oh and for those of you watching the fun, when I first saw cigar no baka's thread here, instead of trying to turn this into a "flame fest", I sent him a pretty low-key PM trying to reason with him because I knew this would get out of hand. He's new here and I understand people can get aggravated and no one is perfect and I want to give him the benefit of the doubt. That was well over two hours ago and he never responded.

I'd be more than happy to post that PM if some of you think it would be beneficial or I will forward it to you if you'd like.

So again, for those of you who don't like to see "all this BS" take it up with cigar no baka, not me

It's not our fault Scotty turned this into a fiasco, he started with the foul language and the scam attitude long before it got nasty.

Just a question there for ya CigarNoBaka, do you think Scotty handled himself poorly in this situation? You know, starting a contest, excluding people who entered per HIS rules, ignoring people then completely losing control of his temper he goes into "melt down" spewing garbage and foul language and insults?

I just would like your take on his behavior seein' how you're not on "my side" here or anything........

IMHO, the discussion changed from civility to a pissing contest when you posted "jumped all over my ass" and "Fuck it." He wasn't jumping on you, he was trying to discuss it.

When CC86 called you on it, you tried to cut your loses and bail, your modus operandi.

Do you own a cat c-no baka?

If you step on a cat's tail, he will most likely hiss, swack at your shoe and move.

If you then go over to the cat, pick it up and shake it, you will have one pissed off scratching and clawing feline on your hands. That Kitty will let you know he is pissed at you until you make peace with him-but don't be surprised if that kitty doesn't wants to make peace with you for awhile

You stepped on the Kitty's tail first.
You then chose to give that Kitty a good shake.
    That Kitty is CC86.

Not even close to the "fuck it." that followed.

IMHO, your skin is way too thin, c-no baka.

Better learn to roll with the punches, take a few licks, chose your fights wisely and be willing to swallow your pride when you fuck up.
