I usually pick a particularly sought after line, buy 3-6 boxes of them, and store them for in excess of 10 years. To prevent cross contamination of flavors from other cigars I usually use a seperate humidor for each brand/type I store. Why stockpile so many of one choice instead of diversifying your collection ?

One or two to keep untouched, and one to sample from over the years I can understand, but why 8 boxes?
