I never realized how bad a shoulder injury was. Every move you make involves the use of it. Prolly the worse pain since my wisdom teeth acted up.
I'm so grateful I never suffered a long term or painful shoulder injury - though it's bound to happen in our line of work. Them dadgummed criminals like to do that pulling and tugging with the long arm of the law.

I hope they're administering the steroids orally, versus poking a needle and injecting that area. I've seen an awful lot of short term gains with long term damage when using the direct injection method. ...and there are far smarter ways of rehabbing a shoulder injury these days.

It sucks to get old, brother - the healing takes longer than it used to. And a shoulder injury (like a foot injury) seems to take far longer because you have to use your arms. Don't push it - it's something that could potentially affect you for the rest of your career (and beyond). Take some well deserved R&R and let it heal the right way.

I hope it all goes well for you.
