Tabacalera is a Spanish tobacco monopoly which was established in 1636, making it the oldest tobacco company in the world [1]. In 1999 the company merged with SEITA of France to form Altadis. Its brands included Ducados and Fortuna.
Tabacalera is also the common name of Compaņia General de Tabacos de Filipinas, S.A.
