AF Hemingway Short Story

I smoked my first few of these this week, and really like them. I see myself smoking these alot after lunch, when I don't have time for a full sized cigar. The only thing I can find wrong with them, is that the two I smoked, and others I looked at in the B&M had excessive ammounts of glue on them. I only looked at singles from one box, and some were worse than others. The cigar's not so small that one would think it would be too hard to apply the glue more precisely. I didn't expect or notice any taste or burn issues caused by it, but am just surprised that AF would let this through quality control even if it's merely cosmetic. Has anybody else noticed this?

I've smoked singles from multiple different boxes of the short stories and I've never seen that either. Great short smoke.

Never . There is another company that makes that size also ,Id be suspicious

I actually have had this problem many times before but more noticeably on the maduro Hemingways, probably because of the darker wrapper. I have had this problem with both the Short Story and the Work of Art Maduros. I also wondered if anyone has had the same experience. I know that at least my own cigars are genuine because I work at a cigar shop and order direct.
