Default Flor de Copan ~ 5.5x40

Smoke: Flor de Copan ~ 5.5x40
    Drink: Smuttynose IPA
    Tunes: Wifey playing Bubbletown
    Date Smoked: 1/22/12

    Wrapper: Honduran
    Binder: Honduran
    Filler: Honduran
    Draw: Medium
    Burn: Good
    Misc: went for about 60min

Pre-light: Claro shade wrapper. Has a dry, cardboard texture to the wrapper. Nice construction. Sweet tobacco / hay scent and a sweet tobacco flavor on the cut prelight taste.

    Light: Pretty easy. Medium draw

1st 3rd: Light body. Oily and nutty. A little twinge of bitter. Smooth and mellow.

Ash: White with ash bubbles. Fell off at about ¾”

2nd 3rd: Again, pretty light and mellow. Grassy flavors, sweet tobacco and some bitter oil, but only slight.

3rd 3rd: Same profile. Light. Nutty and a little bitter. Hay and sweet tobacco flavors. Decent.

Overall impression: Too light for me, personally, but a good example of a lighter body cigar.

Thanks nvd21 for the opportunity to smoke one!
