I would still loose money by taking 25% or the auction. So I do not make a buck as you stated.

I'm a shit bird for having a offer to repair the humidor that I not longer want and would auction off to send 75% of the money to wounded warriors? Were is the logic there? I am still loosing money on the deal. The only plus side is I get the humidor off my hands and money goes to wounded warriors.

So me were someone loses money in a deal and turns around to help wounded warriors.

I can think of one person here, Arlin. His offer to me was to repair the humidor and auction it off. Money would go to his charity and he would credit me $1200. I did not want him to credit me as I would not take anything from him for free. I would pay him for his work for what every I had him build for me.
    Research you humidor builder.

You wouldn't loose any money... you would lose it. Now tell me, say Arlin donates his time (100% of it for free, not 75%) to fix the humidor with the understanding that his time is going to charity and the humidor sells for $4... you take 25% (because you are a strong man of character)... that would be $1 for you to put in your wallet, right? Did you not just make a buck?

Learn from this swift, there are a whole lot of things more important than money.

His first offer to you was to repair you humidor for free. WTF was wrong with that offer? You would have had a functioning, custom made humidor......wasn't that your original goal?

The only thing that will make Swif happy is to unload his humidor for the full $1200.00 he paid for it.
He bought it. Is unhappy with it. Now wants the cigar community to make it right for him.
Swif is the very definition of a cry-baby. Suck it up there Big-Boy and just live with it.

I began a WMWH discussion with Ed in December 2011 and over the course of a month we settled on a design 17H x 12W x 12D in wenge and black palm. After a 50% deposit the build began early January with great progress pictures. Upon completion the balance owing and a shipping charge was paid.

Delivery took longer than we expected due to the shipper goofing up with the label, nothing we can do about 3rd parties.

The custom WMWH146 finally arrived and looked stunning. After a few days of seasoning...

I'll let Ed post up some pictures or I can. It is well documented from design to workshop and my experience since February 17, 2012.
