Pre-light: Maduro oscuro shade wrapper with some plume. Nice construction. One slight split at the foot. Has a musty sweet tobacco scent. A little spicy, but mostly sweet tobacco on the cut prelight taste.

Light: Easy. Medium draw.

1st 3rd: Smooth and rich. Nice sweet tobacco and oily twinge which I notice a lot in DR cigars. A little woodsy and some tooth, but I still put this in the smooth category. Medium body, medium to full flavor.

Ash: Good ash. Slight uneven burn. Medium gray.

2nd 3rd: Same as 1st. Nice sweet tobacco dominant with some oil twinge for balance. Woodsy and less toothy. Full fledged “smooth”

3rd 3rd: Really nice. Nothing offensive. Great flavors of sweet and woodsy tobacco. Little oil twinge. Consistent. Only drawback, and this is not a big deal in this case, is it’s just one profile the whole way.

Overall impression: Had a DC natural a while ago. Fivers of these appear to be a must.
