Yes you have to stock M3 5speed trans won't work on an LS1.

    It's an LS1 & t56 transmission (6speed) with LS7 corvette clutch.

Please get some proper padding on that roll-bar. I'd recommend http://rollbarpadding.com/prod_DualDurometer.html for a street-driven car, or, if you want blue, http://rollbarpadding.com/prod_FIA8857.html or http://rollbarpadding.com/prod_SFI451.html

I've tested BSCI's SFI 45.1 padding personally, and will vouch for it.

    LS1 is a nice swap.

Thank you, and I have thought about it as it is street driven right now, but with the new seats(fixed backs)/brackets the seats sit much further up then the cage and there is no way physically possible for one to bang their head on it. And at the track I have a helmet on and there is still no way my head can hit.

Pretty soon it will be a dedicated track car with a full weld in cage however.

That is what Hard Dog roll-bar owners used to say years ago about their installs. Then there was a death from being rear-ended waiting at an intersection (well, from being unaware of approaching vehicles, but ...). Now Hard Dog sells good foam.

In any case, folks around here call nicely-painted bars with no padding 'monkey bars.' Think about why ...

My apologies for being so hard, but after having been involved in racing and rallying for over 25 years and stewarding for over 10, I foam at the mouth when I see unsafe and dangerous installs such as yours, particularly as you obviously take great pride and care of your vehicle.
