Hi
I’m new to the cigar world and this site; I really enjoy my cigars, but with winter just around the corner I find myself looking for a “short smoke.” Has anyone tried the ESCUDO CUBANO 20 MINOTOS or the ROMEO Y JULIETA MINIS?? Or is there an alternative? Any input is greatly appreciated.

In my short experience with cigars, I have found the RyJ petites to be hit or miss...mostly miss. Too many in the tin are too tight to smoke imo. I do smoke Partagas Black prontos regularly though. Don't recall any that I couldn't make work, and most are perfect right from the get.

I see you're from the "west coast" Assuming you mean North America and not say, Russia or Scandinavia let me tell you this sincerely. You have no idea what cold is!

I've smoked a few Mehari cigars and enjoyed them. You might want to have a look at those and see if those dont' suit your idea of a "short smoke" as well as your tastebuds.
