You wouldn't actually soak the cigars in the liquid. Use the shot of booze as humidifier for your humi. In other words, you would soak a piece of cloth or whatever else you may wish to use and place it in with your cigars.

I've had a couple of rum and port soaked cigars in the long distant past, I think that they soak the tobacco before rolling the cigar. Seem to remember that they were quite pleasant then.
Thing is, a good cigar (£4+) has all the natural flavour(s) that you could want, so why add any more.
