  1. Default wrappers seam dry/brittle

Hi guys! Im new to cigars its been about 2 months. My question is my humidor is about 68°-70° i store the cigars with the elophane or plastic on them some seem fine but others its like the wrapper is dry and brittle. I see some guys use the plastic and some guys dont. Is there a right and wrong way? I checked my hygrometer with a friends and bought and calibrated one as well. All 3 are the same humidity. Thanx guys. Have a good one.

Welcome. Cello on/ cello off....it's a personal preference. Read a little for much discussion on the subject. I keep the cello in if the cigar came in cello, leave it off i not. Your rh is about right, though I prefer mine between 60 and 65 rh, but a couple of points in either direction isn't a big deal.

Sounds like you have the right humidity. Did you buy the cigars too dry? Or - you 're opening and closing the humidor too much, dropping the humidity of your humidor...
