The package has arrived. I'll open it up later tonight and make sure the contents are ok, but dang that's a big box of cigars. Some noob is going to be very happy.

All of the cigars look good and are sitting in my cooler. My goal is to smoke the puro tomorrow and then deliver the pass to Badwhale on Thursday while picking up my portion of our beer split. He'll have the smokes available to him this weekend when he breaks his Lenten cigar fast.

I gave up beer, which has been worse.

Ah, beer. You silly man. I gave up caffeine one year. That first cup of coffee was delicious.

Alright, I fired the puro up this afternoon. It was a nice looking torpedo with good construction. It started of with some spice, so I though Nicaraguan, but then it got a bit harsh in the 1st third. A quick purge and we're off again. The spice immediately diminished after the first few puffs, and became much more mellow. So, I'm going to guess Honduran. Bring on the loser tag!

You and I suffer from the same problem...we think too much, and then think Honduran.

The cigar was an Oliva Series V, "an enchanting Nicaraguan puro chock full of flavorful goodness". I bought two of them, and I loved the one I smoked just a few days ago. I certainly want a box of those.

I'm sorry that you have to ship that prize pack off to the Naughty Fish; he's like almost destined to guess it right! (Go Brazilian Puro....that will get him!)
