I don't know about BigRed, but the GV Crystals at my local Shamrock station are $1.35 each. NOT a bargain price for that stick, for sure. I know I can get Connies for that or even less. And Connies are to GV like Caviar is to chopped black olives.
Bitte geehrter Herr, stoppen das Spinnen der Welt, ich möchte weg erhalten.

If you look for sales or specials on the popular cigar sites, you can get good premium smokes for less than $2 a stick sometimes! Seriously, they have boxes of 20 on sale for $29.99-$39.99 all the time! You have to jump on them though. Great deals sell out quick.

Thanks for all of the great responses, i am checking out the cigar sites that were recommended to me and will hopefully find something good. Do you have any suggestions as to what to get?

The closest tobacco store to me is an hour away. My favorite tobacco store is an hour and a half away because it has a much larger selection. I think I smoked a “gas station” cigar maybe once or twice while I was in college. From what I can remember the drive is definitely worth it. I have ordered from a couple of the online stores as well. This is a great alternative but I prefer driving to the store and picking my own cigars.

Right now, I'm on a Cigars International roll. I'm trying out their products. I've had a good experience with their Indian Tabac and Rocky Patel lines, and some of their economy lines are pretty decent too, like the Perdomo's. They generally have pretty good prices and specials too. That's not to say that every stick they sell is a gem, but I plan on giving any of their product that looks good the once over.

I think they were a few $'s for a pack of 3. I have not smoked one in years. I was young and did not know what a real cigar was.
