Well, one source of hope is that since cigarette sales dwarf all other tobacco sales combined, maybe they will miss cigar/pipe smokers and focus on cigarette smokers. That seems to be what is happening here in Texas, at least tax-wise. Several huge increases in taxes on cigs in recent history, but tax on cigars is still 1.1 cents per stick.
There's only two kinds of cigars, the kind you like and the kind you don't.
