    Default CC....are you saying

that non-Cuban cigars using Cuban names like "Cuban so-and-so" suck or that a Cuban brand's Dominican or Honduran counterpart brand sucks, e.g. RyJ Habana vs RyJ Dominican, etc.

I wish you'd be more detailed in your explanations as this is getting to be very confusing.

    Now...as far as Upman Cigars.......THEY suck.....the non-Cuban variety I mean

Well, one things for sure, the domestic one I had wasn't all that great. I've also found out that I seem to be sorely mistaken about tubos being a sign of quality. Many gas station cigars now appear to come in glass tubes.

They are the bomb, especially the Mag 46 and Sir Winston.

i too was dissapointed by my H. Upmann, it was the Monarch tubo. i decided to give the brand another chance with a little $1.50 Demi Tasse 33x4.5. It really succeeded my expectations. I was overall very pleased with the demi, a very good, short smoke.

just curious - did you mean "met" your expectations or "exceeded" your expectations...

exceeded them. after the other H.U. though, that wasnt hard to do. The demi was definitely a very good smoke. the draw was a little on the tough side, but the flavor made up for it.
