I was talking with a buddy a month ago before I was really into cigars, and he lit up a griffin. He explained to me that he had let that particular one set in his humi for awhile and that it tasted better than one right out of the tube. Personally I would take it out or at least open the cap and put it in a humi instead of just leaving it in its tube unless the tube had some sort of miniature humidification device or you can be sure it is airtight.
