Perdomo Estate Selection

I was down at one of my local shop and the folks there were telling me Perdomo has changed the blend and will be releasing the new Estate selection soon. It sparked my interest. I felt these were great the way they are now. From what I was told the new one blend is going to be better.



On a side note, the local shop I was referring to, gold leaf tobacconist in seabrook NH is have the perdomo lady in to spin fresh cigars on Aug. 27 and will also be having a Perdomo tasting. The tasting will be of the current Estate Selection but the owner expects to have to new one's in by then. Unless someone gets to it first I'll let you know what I think.

Lastly the shop also has pre-embargo cubans. I am skeptical of the quality as they were only 4 bucks but i will let the board know. Most likely the purpose they can serve (at four bucks each) will be pass outs to non-cigar smoking friends who want to try a cuban. Good for the novelty.

Tried the pre-ban cuban. It was better than I expected. Lots of smoke, mild to medium flavor, not overly diynamic but better than the average 4 dollar smoke. Very well constructed firm draw, but not enough to be difficult, good burn.

Overall its a good deal at 4 bucks. I have smoked alot worse for alot more.


Would I buy on again, sure why not.

Would I search one out, probably not.

That is a cool shop. I stopped in one day when buying fireworks in Seabrook. It looked like a nice place to chill out and smoke a stogie. I picked up a La Gloria Cubana Series R and chatted with the lady there for a bit. I wish I was still home for that Perdomo event that you mentioned it sounds like a lot of fun.

Yeah I stopped in today to pick up another estate selection and found out that Nick Perdomo himself will be there for the event. This should be pretty cool.
