Leaving this evening for Michigan

Have a great trip and hope you get to Motown. My old college stomping grounds. Place looks alot better now than it did back then. Hit up the casino in what was Trappers Alley (Greektown) and go across the street to Pizza Papallis or Pegasis (sp) for Saganaki and deep dish pizza. A few doors down is a great pastry shop. Dont forget to drink plenty of Vernor's soda too.

I basically visit ever other year for a week of food...

There was just an article in Smoke magazine all about cigar shops in and around Detroit. I just tossed it this past weekend. Perhaps someone else still has it. Its the one with Dennis Rodman on the cover. I know there is a lounge in Tiger Stadium, there is another shop in the Rennisance Center and there are a few outside Detroit itself.
