    Default Kissing with Cigar Breath

I just returned from another fantastic night with my new knight...lol. As we made traveled from the bar to the parking lot, it became pretty clear that we were gonna share our first liplock. This was the first kiss I've had since I started smoking cigars....and I smoked two back-to-back in the time I was with him. If he found my "cigar breath" objectionable, he didn't say so.

Any of you guys run into any issues regarding kissing with cigar breath? I can imagine some wives and girlfriends (or boyfriends for that matter) would find it revolting. And any tips on how to minimize cigar breath so it doesn't impair intimate moments?

I tend to always carry mints or gum on me regardless of whether I am smoking or not. I just like to chew stuff

Just pick something really strong that doesn't taste bad, and I assume it would work.

gum, gum, gum. Tobacco breath is nasty, I never talked to girls who smoked cigarettes because an ashtray is for butts, not for kisses. I will only kiss my fiancé after I've gummed up. She wouldn't have it any other way, and neither would I, lest I be hypocritical.

All the years I smoked cigarettes, I only dated other smokers so this was never an issue for me in the past. And I would guess to the non-smoker that cigar breath would probably be even fouler than cigarette breath. For some reason, this never even crossed my mind last night or I would have definitely got some gum or Tic Tacs. Hopefully, I didn't scare him away. It didn't seem as though I repulsed him too badly, and he was the one that went in for the kiss so maybe I'm okay..lol

I can see some of you guys' wives and girlfriends cramming gum and Tic-Tacs in front of you after you finish a cigar. Too funny.

I generally chew gum after I'm finished smoking; it helps me remove the 'gar taste from my mouth (so I can taste my next meal!), and helps improve my breath so I'm not going around breathing 'gar breath all over people, much less kissing my wife with my ashtray mouth
There's only two kinds of cigars, the kind you like and the kind you don't.

personally . . . i LOVE waking up in the morning and still smelling that great cigar i had the night before. . . yes they wifey does make me brush and gargle and singe, and burn and scrub and peel . . oh, sorry . . so yeah, i have to brush my teeth, wash my mouth and hands before im allowed to join the rest of civilization for dinner or what not lol. sometimes she'll make me change my shirt when we are over at her grandmothers house cause she's like 193 and cranky and picky about everything.

    if its a good cigar smell, and i smell it on you . . . i'd be like . . . wowwwww . . niiiiice. . .
if i were single of course lol

i dont think kissing with cigar breath is anywhere near as bad as cigarette breath but im sure my wife would beg to differ

I generally wash up face and hands, and brush after smoking a cigar. It just seems the polite thing to do, as well as being good hygeine. As I've said before, brush your tongue as far back as you can see in your mouth until it's clean. The mucus build up there is where most objectionable mouth odor comes from. If you're out and about, chewing gum is your best bet.

I would suggest the Listerene Pocket Packs for your situation. Those little dissolving strips work well and are gone in a few seconds, so you don't have to plan too far ahead as far as getting ready for that smooch.....and much more discrete than sucking on mints or smacking on gum.

I also have used some of the liquid drops breath freshener and some of them work really well also.
