Thread: I've always been a name brand snob when it comes to cigars...

  1. Default

    Attention newbies!

I'd just like to point out that my original post (that George was kind enough to quote below and so preserve forever on this thread) is just the kind of snotty, smartass remark that will make you no friends and if repeated once or twice is likely to cause your ass to be handed to you.

I want to apologize to rpb67 if I gave offense, as it seems, on other evidence, that I did. All I can say is that having hung out here for a while now and got to know some of the members and the culture a little better, I'm embarassed about having posted something so gratuitously stupid.

Thanks guys. Just trying to say that after you build your collection that you may want to start buying cigars that are more on the collectable and long term aging type.

    To answer your questions.

    1. The Partagas Reserva came from Germany and it cost me $650.00.

    2. The humidor is a custom made Stabell. Made by Bob himself. The model # is the M+.

I need to go now. I need to lock all my doors and windows and turn my alarm on!

If any of you guys are ever in Mass. Let me know. I would lve to herf with you guys. CC I am coming to Mohegan soon. I will PM you when I know when.

    Keep smoking guys !

I do not need another box of Montes or Partagas unless I smoke the ones that I have in my smoking rotation. You are at the collecting and aging point.

Start looking and buying the stuff that is not of the norm. Like the discontinued stuff and rarer things. There are alot of deals to be had out there. Just take your time and search.
if your not busy this weekend ,ummm maybe i could come over ,give me a call

That same box costs $1200 in Calgary due to the taxes

Of course, I'm just jealous. That is quite a stash you've got yourself there.

    Camacho Special Limited Reserve
Montesino seems to fit the milder side but a good smoke.

Corona Gigante I heard the new senior members are by tradition to send a Camacho to Members with over 50 posts a sampler as an encouragement to reach the next level.
    Thanks

Jeez. You mean I should have actually read those terms of service when I registered?

By the way, how does one become a senoir member?

I think only members of the French version of this site can become a senoir member.
