Thread: Farm Rolled????

    Default Farm Rolled????

I was looking thru the humi and was checking out a couple farm rolled ISOM's I received recently in a trade. My question is, what does it mean "Farm Rolled"? I mean the sticks are great looking but have no band. Are they simply rolled on the farm that the leaves were grown at rather than at a factory? What does this mean as far as quality? I was going to ask via PM the person I got these from but figured it would be a good learning thread for all to see.

"Farm rolled" refers to authentic cuban tobacco cigars not rolled as official Habanos S.A factory production.

Some farm rolled tobacco originates from factory production supplies , some is simply farm grown.

Farm rolled is generally used to indicate legitimate premium long filler cigars, not the "counterfeit" banded cuban cigars that originate in Cuba from cuban tobacco, often with short filler or inferior tobacco.
