I shared this story with my wife and a few buddies and they all think it's hilarious. My wife thinks I should write it up for This American Life. I am looking forward to the mailman coming this week like a little kid waiting for Christmas. My wife's rolling her eyes but at least she can't complain about the cost this time around. The package from JRs which I had "forgotten" to mention to her should be arriving around the same time too. Could that have worked out any better?

I thought it might be a good idea to share the wealth a little. If you live around Houston, keep Wednesday evening, Sept 21st, 5:30-9:00pm free. I thought I might try my hand at hosting a "Herf."

Meanwhile, I guess I better buy that 1/2 pound bag of beads I've been thinking about.
