We boosted our redline to 7000 from 6800 this year, and that might have had something to do with it. Big boys are running 7200 or higher I think

We only ran one race because of that "little" problem. We're a fairly small team so money gets tight sometimes. It's hard for a team thats owned by the driver to compete with the big guys like Ron Beauchamp who has something like 300 grand a year for operating expenses.
This was my first year on the team, though I coded their first website back in 98 or so when I was just in junior high. I was on fuel this season, probably will be next year too.
It's always tough trying to compete against big $$$$.
My brother ran a ministock dirt car for a few years.
Seems like the guys with most $$ get the breaks most of the time.
My brother did get his day in the sun though.
