  1. Default I know it's small but...

Will it keep my cigars fresh? Is it of a good enough quality?

    Too small, don't bother.

Go to WallyMart and buy yourself a quality piece of well sealing Tupperware for a third of the price.

It will work but in the long run it is a waste of $$$. Spend more money on a larger one or get a tupper or cooler for now until you can afford a larger humi.

However, I see no reason why that cannot be a good SMALL humi. If it wont seal or hold RH then send the thing back.

Good Luck with whatever decision you make.

cheaper and bigger This one holds up to 50 it says but it has a little scratch on the side because it is in the imperfect section. Should still work though.
Smoking a cigar is very fun.

Jason (Jaewing) is right, get some tupperware, or, better yet, with every place putting coolers on clearance, buy a cooler 65 qt. or higher. Then go buy yourself some humidity beads from Heartfelt Industries . Grab the 1 Lb. bag.

    15 cigars? Really?

Even if you're just starting out and don't think you'll be smoking much, look for something that claims to hold 40-50 sticks. Even if you're just buying singles, you're going to want to have the space. You're going to have so many different brands you're going to want to try and you're going to become addicted to cigar shops, and (if you're like me) you're not going to be able to smoke them as quickly as you can buy them. :)

If you are looking for a small travel humidor, buy an otterbox.

My advise comes from experience. Go as big as you can afford. When I started collecting/smoking cigars this past summer, I bought a nice 50 count humidor from my local smoke shop. Nice box and does a great job. I thought, "This will be plenty, I'll never fill this thing up." Boy was I wrong. A few samplers, a couple stops at the shop for singles, a trade here and there and my humi is to the top with NO room for even one more stick. I am now going to be getting a cooler and beads to store the majority of my smokes and keep the humi in plain veiw for looks and to keep my nicer sticks. Most will tell you the same thing I am. You don't know how adicting the hobby can be until you really get into it.
