    Default Sincerely Sorry

Hey, I just wanted to let everyone here know that I feel TERRIBLE for what has transpired with my trade with Ken *cigarsarge*. I still intend on coming through with my end of the deal. I haven't been on here much since school started back, things have been kind of crazy. The biggest reason I haven't been able to come through with my end has been tuition, books, gas prices, etc.....Believe me, this is not a sob story, I've just been having a tought time of late. I promise I will hold up my end of the deal, and hopefully come through with something to make up for the delay and what not. I really want to stay in good standing with everyone here, because I enjoy talking to all of you. I know that I will be critisized, but I just wanted everyone to know what was going on. Once, again I am sorry, but I DO STILL PLAN ON COMING THROUGH. I am EXTREMELY sorry, but I will hold up my end of the deal. I would also like to thank Hex for understanding what is going on. Thanks.

    -Mike

Thanks for keeping everyone in the loop. I think everyone here can understand what it's like to be broke at one point or another. I think the biggest issue everyone had was the fact that there was no communication what so ever.

This is a good start. Thanks for being honest.

Yeah, like I said, with school starting back I've just been super busy, I didn't mean to intentionally keep anyone out of the loop. I really would hate for cigarsarge to be upset with me, because I think he's a good guy, but I can understand him being upset with me, I deserve it.

While I don't know a lot about what happened, I have a lot of respect for your honesty.

Reganyouth84 did send me a pm stating circumstances of the delay. My position is one should not make deals you cannot keep in a timely manner. Being prompt and keeping communication lines open is vital if one chooses to engage in this kind of hobby. If he would have just kept in communication I would have told him just ot keep the cigars as a gift. I do understand hardship. I would have done no more trades with him though.

Hopefully this will be a lesson learned for him and other newbies.

I'll post when reganyouth84 makes good....I'll post if he dosen't.

Why did you go into the deal knowing you did not have the sticks or the money to fulfill your end of the bargain?

I hope the sticks Sarge sent you ( if you haven't already smoked them all.. ) taste bittersweet, ReganYouth.

You screwed up big time. School, time, & money problems are not a excuse. We all have issues. Going into a deal when you don't have your part is just plain wrong. Then do a disappearing act for weeks. You are a bad trader and a thief. Make it right then go away and grow up some. When you think you can be a man come back and prove it.

I agree with the above quote and you should be given NO sympathy. If you're going to enter a deal with someone and you have the slightest bit of hesitency, then DON'T DO IT...it's that simple.

So are you saying that YOU are more important (your gas and tuition) than cigarsarge? I see so since he doesn't have the power like your school to kick you out (if you don't pay tutition) or not get you to work (if you don't fill up your car with gas), he gets the back burner? Way to go.

If I were you, I'd make arragements ASAP to hold up on your end of the deal, this is unacceptable. More importantly, I've hoped you learned your lesson not to let history repeat itself again.

I'm giving my two cents because being a newbie I'd like to possibly purchase cigars / samplers from other members down the road. It's people like you that are going to ruin it for the rest of us and make no one trust each other in this community. I suggest you grow up and take responsibility for this. Not tomorrow, not next week, but NOW.

    bla bla bla...

    excuses excuses..

you are still under obligation to come thru with your end. There was no question there..!!

I think the main concern was Why would you get yourself into something you are unable to comply with.

    Shut up you Communist.

In your world all the cigars are "the people's" cigars so I don't understand why a Communist would find any problem with this. You hero Lennin use to do the same thing, he'd go into a cigar shop and just help himself to whatever he wanted and NEVER paid.

How's your butt buddy Scroto doing these days?

CC - leave Joshua alone - he's working on the cigarsmokers chat room - you're gonna piss him off and he'll leave...

Besides - he didn't make member of the month so he's grumpy...

You boys are getting off topic, stick with Reagan here.

While I don't know what extent or problems your having, I being a college student, understand what it's like to have to drop half a grand on 4 books and sell them back for 300. Ken is a great trader and I have no doubt if you'd kept in communication, he'd just had said keep them.

I'm the last person whose gunna tell you that you messed up, because I've messed up pretty big myself, I'm just giving you a very very helpful hint of making your trades and other things dealing with other people's goods (i.e. cigars and cash, because I bet that's what we all on here love the most) you don't want to make them mad.

Now go to Knox Cigar and Smoking Joes, get some great sticks for my buddy Ken, and pay him.! He's too good of a guy to be done this way.
