Well - I'm glad someone has come to your aid and defense. That must REALLY empower you more than you feel now... Very nice... Amanda - while you perceive your cause as good, and your efforts noble, I really think you should carefully re-read all of your comments. If you are as intelligent as you would have us believe, and you can remove the anger cloud from in front of your eyes, I think you'll see you went quite a bit overboard.

Tossing insults and belittling other members around here under the guise of an intellectual discussion makes you look REAL foolish... As far posting politics in this "Politics" section - this section was not really created by Hex for us to discuss politics as you may believe - this was created so we could take the likes of Scotty to task for his BS. ggiese, I appreciated CG's defense, but I think I'm holding my own pretty good against the feeble arguments being made against me. I was attacked and fought back as any self-respecting person would. Let me ask you this....let's say it was your wife or mother who was engaged in casual disagreement with CC86 and he proceeded to call them "snotty bitches". Would you come to their defense with everything you had (or at least recommend they defend themselves).....or would you continue submitting to your apparent theory that CC has a God-given license to verbally defile them? When someone disrespects me the way he did, I'm gonna let him have it.....particularly considering he's a habitual bully and somebody needed to put him in his place.

You are really hard up for ammunition to defend the verbally abusive guy you call friend. He raised the issue of partisan politics in the thread by resurrecting the 2000 election dogfight. Telling me I'm abusing the confines of the board by responding to a topic he raised shows the desperation you are resorting in your futile attempt to defend the indefensible.

I didn't realize until your response to ggiese's post that THAT was your biggest issue.

I don't understand your statement where you claim I'm "playing the victim" and if you think you scored some points for yourself with this extended back and forth, I kinda don't think ya did. You and I have obvioulsy have a difference of opinion in that department but for cryin' out loud you attacks were cruel and mean-spirited and people can draw their own conclusions from your posts.

Yep, I have a slight advantage here over you in that I'm older than you, I know much more about cigars than you, I've been on this and many other cigar boards a hell of a lot longer than you and it may seem grossly unfair to you that it's not an "even playing field" but that's life and ya better learn to live with it because you'll run across a whole lot of other similar situations as you get older and you're going to have to bite your tounge in those cases too
