Joe, I wouldn't have said one more thing if CC's original apology didn't come with a lengthy addendum about how much smarter he is than me. Even in defeat, the guy has to somehow snatch victory. His needle is forever stuck on age 11 when he was "king of the jungle gym." As stated before, I have no expectation in getting the last word here as CC clearly has 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to spend doing nothing but oozing arrogance on cigar message boards. I don't have as much time as he does to dedicate to message boards and I'm sure he has the Casper-white, permanent homebody skin tone to prove it since he probably hasn't seen daylight in years. With that in mind, my final comments in this thread will come tonight and he can have all day Sunday to congratulate himself repeatedly to everybody on the board....and if the never-ending "I beat Scotty" saga is any indication, you're likely to be hearing about it far beyond Sunday.

That would be much more convincing if you didn't have 1,622 messages to your credit on an online message board....and are likely to be writing #1623 even as I write this....at 4:30 on Sunday morning! I don't believe I've ever seen a post reach this message board for more than five minutes before you're on the case responding to it.....usually with some snarky smartass drivel meant to make you look good and everybody else look bad. Unless you have a laptop bolted to your chest and you type while walking, you must be sitting in front of that computer of yours virtually around the clock.

I've been keeping up with this thread and while I thought you started out fairly well, your content has deteriorated. If you truly believed all you write in your counter remarks, you'd not take what CC says personally. Yet you have. And this where I feel a little let down. You obviously have a strong intellect. I thought you were on track with a few well-written responses to CC and others. And now it all seems to boil down to your having been offended. After all your lofty comments on various political issues - Kinky, biofuel, etc., it comes down to inflation of your own ego. Shit. You are pushing a pretty hazardous personal agenda: pride while claiming to hate pride. So, you've proven your start wasn't so innocent. Increasingly, this is what CC seems to have recognized and pursued, which is how you're contributing to his credibility. Not that he needs it.

CC doesn't need my defense. However, while he rides roughshod over some folks, a genuine application of your impressive intellect to his "bullying" will obviate his refusal to put up with bullshit. One of the many ways he contributes here. Spotting yours was an astute observation on his part - quicker than me, and I "observe" for a living. Too bad you'd rather squander your talent on "taking him to task."
