Amanda, you should know by now that ANYTHING you EVER put in writing you may have to answer for at some point. I ALWAYS have this in the back of my mind with EVERY PM and EVERY EMAIL I've EVER WRITTEN. If you're too embarrassed by what you put in writing becoming public, then gee, maybe you shouldn't have put it in writing in the first place. If you plan on being a teacher and working in the PUBLIC SECTOR you better goddam well get used to the fact that ALL your computer at work is subject to FOI as well as ANY written communications you send or receive at work (excluding your personnel file). Not posting on cigar boards might really be a good thing for you in the long run.
