Thread: Eaten Alive By a Swisher Sweet......

  1. Default Eaten Alive By a Swisher Sweet......

    Hey All;

OK, I have read on this forum that chemicals in Swisher Sweets can "Eat" the wood inside a humidor. Personally, I think this is a little absurd...... (Of course I could be wrong.) Does anyone know anything about this. It would really appreciate it.

You're abolutely right, the whole thing is an urban legend, perpetrated by members of this forum.

Even so, you still shouldn't own them or smoke them because they've been proven to decrease libido.

I've never heard this. Although, smoking them has been known to cause the perpetrator to suffer vast amounts of ridicule.

with all due respect...it amazes me that some would talk about swisher sweets and white owls on a cigar forum.....i don't consider them cigars...but that's just me...

I actually haven't had a swisher sweet in a long time. (I can actually only remember somking 2.) But a friend of mine said the exact same thing a few weeks ago. It was the first time I ever heard it until I looked around on this forum a few days ago. Hmmmmmmm, I see the need to do a test........

If the chemicals used in it were poured directly onto the wood in pure form it probably would eat a hole strait though it. Would putting the cigars in it? No.

The Chemicals in a Swisher Sweey would probably make a great Napalm Alternative.....

All the ads at the bottom of this page are for places you can buy Swisher Sweets.

There are a couple Swisher Sweets smokers on campus. I've been hanging out with them for smoke breaks this semester. I've tried to talk them to going at least a little upscale, but they don't seem to want to invest in the real thing. I'll have to tell them that Swisher Sweets eat away the wood in humidors just to see what kind of reaction I get....lol

ok i was -kidding- when i said that . . . the obvious point through my satire(sp?) was please dont smoke them . . . they arent a cigar . . . they arent worthy of your humidor, let alone your palette. when ever someone on here mentions swisher sweets is usually in a sarcastic or cruel way cause they are shit.

i was kidding about the eating through wood thing but hey, who knows, i might be right. please dont mix these with premium cigars . . . . smoking a swisher sweet in the cigar world is like being gay in the 60's you just dont do it. . . and if you do, you should burn . . . along with the turd rocket ;)

    lmao.

umm, when your girlfriend's best friend is gay, she says he's sweet, and, uhh, gay guys swish, so, uh, if you smoke swisher sweets, it can make you uhh, impotent and, uh, well, that just ain't right.

my statement was not one that condones(sp?) the action, but merely an illustration of the shame equivalence . . . or something like that

I too have been gently steering friends away from various "sweets". They like the good cigars I share, but they like the "tasty" ones better

Where I come from Swisher Sweets are smoked by loggers. I dare anyone to call them gay. You might find a 90 ft. pine tree shoved up your but.
Do draft dodgers have reunions? And if so what do they talk about?

I think someone should write a review of one ".Started out mild with a hint of sugar... ...Finshed with a trip to the hospital for a taiste bud scraping and general rehab".
